City plans clean up day, rabies clinic and tables item on moving EDC office to city hall
Rocksprings City Council held a Special Meeting on the evening of Valentine’s Day, February 14th. All council members were present for roll call. Dawn Rudasill with the American Angora Goat Breeders Association (AAGBA) and Andrew Barnebey, County Commissioner and also Economic Development Corporation (EDC) board member signed up to speak during the Public Forum portion of the meeting.
As it pertained to the agenda item involving the EDC office from the AAGBA building to City Hall, Rudasill noted that AAGBA entered into a contract with the EDC back in 2010 on a yearly basis, and in 2016 the two parties decided upon a 3 year contract which will end in December 2019. She stated that the $200 per month “helps us a great deal...$2,400 a year is a bunch to us.” Rudasill also commented that there will be “Hardship on AAGBA if the EDC office is move over [to City Hall].
