Crisp mornings, cool evenings, fall leaves and the smell of the fresh outdoors will welcome hunters to the 2019 fall hunting season. Soon, it will be hard to tell where anything is with all the camouflage around town. With an estimated 5.3 million deer statewide, there should be plenty to harvest this fall.
With opening day on November 2nd, Edwards County grows in population almost instantly. While hunters are arriving and doing last minute preparations for the first day, local businesses and organizations will be offering a wide arrange of opportunities from food concessions on Friday and Saturday to our annual Hunters Barbecue on Saturday evening at the Edwards County Fairgrounds.
