There’s so much going on!
The 2019-2020 RISD school year is in full swing and the students are back in the groove for another year. Football games are already being played and the fans are excited to see how the Mighty Angoras will fair for this year. Cross Country runners have been participating in extensive training exercises (including yoga!) and it looks like these kids will be some real race winners. Also, there’s been some scheduling changes this year as far as school day beginning and end, so don’t forget that on every Friday of this school year, school lets out earlier than the other days.
The Rocksprings/Edwards County Volunteer Fire Department is having their annual rodeo and fish fry on August 31st. There will be a day fun of things to do from goat roping to washer pitching, rodeo and dance. Come join the fun and help support our volunteer fire fighters with donations, raffles and by participating in a silent auction. Local businesses as well as individuals support the fire department by donating different items for the silent auction.
