Lady Angoras clinched their third back to back Area Championship last Monday against Dime Box in Devine. The Ladies advance to the first quarter final game against Nueces Canyon in Leakey on Thursday, Feb. 25 at 6:30 p.m. (l-r) Head coach Allison Burleson, Mia Franco, Ava Grooms, Rebecca Ruiz, Ailynn Infante, Suzie Rangel, Amanda Viera, Kiki Hilliard, Paige Ellliott, Amy Ortiz, coach Jon Elliott, Nayeli Barrera, Claire Burleson and coach Kristen Satterfield.

A community that serves one another is a community that wins

Say what you want to say about living in a small town, but this past week the community of Rocksprings, TX proved that there can be an upside or two to living in a place that most people don’t even know exists. The residents of Rocksprings (Rocky, to those of us that are locals) pulled together when it mattered the most after this month’s winter storm devastated many families and their homes and businesses.

Robot Mania returns to the Science Mill during Spring Break

The Science Mill offers more than 50 hands-on and minds-on exhibits that are fun for all ages, including the 30-foot Colossal Robotic Hand, which moves in response to a joystick-controlled mini hand. The Johnson City museum will be open extended hours over spring break with robotics-themed activities.
