Music and encouraging words offered to community this Saturday

COVID-19 has shut down a lot. Here in little Rocksprings, TX, restaurants are limited to take-out-orders only, local, city and county offices are on closed door policy, but with workers inside, social distancing, schools closed and some complete closures. Churches are not allowed to assemble with more than 10 people inside a building.

A Community Drive-Up Service of Encouragement is being planned for this Saturday, May 2nd at 7:00 p.m. at the Edwards County Fairgrounds.

First Baptist Church of Rocksprings will host the event. Pastor John Moore will bring words of encouragement as we focus on how we deal with the present and what’s to come in our near future.

Music and singing always makes us happier. Rusty and Carolyn Pipes, with the assistance of Carolyn’s band, the Band of Faith, will be leading the music. Ladies of the church have
