Gray Oak Pipeline LLC increases economy in Edwards County

However, this pipeline project, which has a name, Gray Oak Pipeline LLC, is a joint venture owned by Phillips 66 Partners and some other companies. Phillips 66 is the owner and developer of the Gray Oak Pipeline and will also be operating it upon completion, which is expected to be in service by the end of 2019 according to a phone interview with the quite cordial Rich Johnson, APR Manager, Communications-Phillips 66 Midstream this past Friday morning.

Johnson stated that the Gray Oak Pipeline begins in the Permian Basin of West Texas and New Mexico and will lead to destination points in Corpus Christi, and ultimately to a refinery in Sweeny, TX which is located in Brazoria County. “The majority of the pipeline route follows existing infrastructure corridors minimizing short-term disruption and the pipeline’s overall footprint” as is written on the project’s website at . “Gray Oak Pipeline route was carefully selected to ensure minimal impact to the environment and communities along its course,” again citing the website.
