Fuel card approved for Edwards County
Edwards County held their monthly Commissioner’s Court meeting this past Tuesday at the Edwards County courthouse. In attendance were Judge Souli Shanklin and commissioners Matt Fry, Lee Sweeten, Kenneth Reed and new commissioner Marty Graham. The meeting was called to order at 9:02 a.m. and the pledge of allegiance was cited.
With recent moisture and rainfall, the burn ban will continue to be lifted unless otherwise deemed necessary to be put back in place. Judge Shanklin has the right to enforce the ban back into action if circumstances seem fit. If you would like to perform a burn please call 830-683-4104.
The meeting began with discussion on three land plats in the county, one being in it’s preliminary phase and the others being in their finals. These plats were The Wild Canyon Ranch Subdivision Phase II, represented by Sam Poorman, Commissioner Fry, Oak Valley Ranch represented by Matt Barcello, Commisioner Fry and Holcomb Ranch Track 3A represented by Benge Bushong, Commissioner Grahamr . All three plats were approved to continue into their next phases.
