Coastal areas continue to flood as Hurricane Harvey leaves castastrophic damage

Horrible Harvey continued to dump rain on already saturated areas of Texas throughout the Houston area Tuesday, August 29th. More than 40” of rain has fallen since last Friday. Prior to that, Hurricane Harvey came on land as a category 4 storm in the Corpus Christi, Port Aransas, and Rockport areas. Major flooding is reported from those areas, southeast Texas and all the way up past Austin. The emergency management teams from federal to local are coordinating an amazing rescue operation. Beyond words is my description.

Horrible, unprecedented, catastrophic are the descriptions we are hearing of favorite vacation spots, homes and businesses.
