Ronnie and Terri Eckhart’s party barn at their Guest House B & B complex here in Rocksprings ranks right up among the best snow pictures taken during our recent snowfall on New Year’s Eve!
Edwards County makes the news again! KSAT meteorologist Sarah Spivey and photojournalist Robert Samarron were in town December 31st to report on the area snowfall. Sarah said, “What a fun way to end 2020! Rocksprings got at least 4-5 inches of snowfall by the time we left town. Special thanks to KSAT photojournalist Robert for embracing the snowfall with me! Happy New Year, everyone!” Some areas registed 6”- 7” of snow and around 1 and a 1/2 to 3” of much needed rain prior to the snow.
A clean, snowy ending to 2020!
What better way to end 2020! New Year’s Eve was a day of fresh rain and then heavy snow here locally. It was almost like a land santitizer for our COVID depressed world. Refreshing!
Rainfall amounts ranged from about 1.5” to 3” and snow from 3” to 7”.
