Anthrax outbreak continues in neighboring counties

Editor’s note: As the increasing reports of death of animals by anthrax continues, we need to all keep a look out for any suspicious deaths. The following article was to appear in the Ozona Stockman’s Wednesday issue. Perner graciously shared her story.

A meeting about the latest Anthrax outbreak will be held at 9 a.m. today, July 24, at the Crockett County Civic Center.

Speakers include Dr. Terry Hensley, of the Texas A&M Veterinary Medical Diagnostic Laboratory, and Dr. Bob Dittmar, of Texas Parks and Wildlife.

The program is brought to the public by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service in Crockett County.
