Three individuals have filed for County Judge as Democrats: Mark Bean, incumbent Judge Nick Gallegos, and Olga Lydia Reyes. Souli Shanklin has filed for County Judge in the Republican Primary.
In the Democratic Primary, one candidate has filed for Precinct 2 and 5 Commissioner, F. O. “Tike” Burleson. Burleson will face either Dale Nance or Lee Sweeten who will appear on the Republican ballot.
Two candidates will appear on the ballot for Commissioner, Precinct 4: Annette Franco and incumbent Commissioner Mike Grooms. No Republican has filed for this seat.
Appointed Clerk Sherri Gaither will be on the ballot unopposed for District and County Clerk in the Democratic Primary and she has no Republican opponent.
Incumbent Treasurer Lupe Sifuentes-Enriquez is unopposed for County Treasurer on either ballot, too.
Justice of the Peace Joe O. Baker will face Romana Rendon Bienek in the Democratic Primary. No Republican has filed for this position.
Andrew Barnebey filed for the Democratic Chair as has Ann Cox for the Republican Chair position which they both presently hold.
