Friday's Internet Edition, July 30, 2010. Sam Silvers - Extension Agent
The Edwards County 4-H would like to tip their hats and say thanks to all the supporters of this year’s cabrito cook off! We appreciate Souli Shanklin for donating the goats for this year’s contest and also give thanks to Mandy and Bobby Warren for their continued support and hard work to the 4-H club. We would like to extend our thank yous to those who donated to this year’s cook off as well-Lupe and Juan Enriquez, Lori Ruiz and family, Donnie and Judy Letsinger, Country Boys Feed and Peoples State Bank. Your donations and support help make this a great event to add towards the 4th of July festivities. The Edwards County 4-H Club strives to host one of the best cook off’s in the state of Texas. Although we don’t make an entirely huge amount of money, we are one of the highest paying cook offs in the state and it is ya’ll’s support and donations that make this possible. This event is the Edwards County 4-H’s way of providing a service to the community that people will enjoy and look forward to doing on the 4th of July! Once again I would like to say thank you on behalf of the Edwards County 4-H! If you have any questions or concerns please fill free to give me a call!
