Sarah Kate, a physicians assistant, will work in the medical clinic and Walt will serve as the ship’s coordinator. He will work with government officials, village leaders, crew, staff and patients. His duties include attending required Ministry of Health meetings, making reports, meeting officials to explain their mission, engaging in public relations with officials, politicians and all those they encounter along the river. Walt also plans to work with village evangelism. The Ship of Life is a work of Partners in Progress. Their website is www.partnersinprogress.org. Walt and Sarah Kate have a blog where they post frequent reports of their work. It is waltepperson.com. They plan to spend a minimum of 3 months and probably 8 months on the ship. Please pray for their safety and God’s blessing and guidance of their work in Cambodia. Walt is a native of Rocksprings, son of Paula Kay and Sam Epperson and grandson of Pauline Erekson all of Rocksprings.. |
