Monday's Internet Edition, September 06, 2010. Shanklin riding well - Ryan Shanklin, a Rocksprings ISD graduate, has been in the bull riding at the San Antonio Livestock Show and Rodeo. This year was a different format for the riders. They were divided into four divisions of twelve riders, with each rider riding four bulls back to back. Ryan rode in the first section riding three of his four bulls and winning that division. The top five of each division will ride again Thursday, February 18th in the semi finals with the top twelve going to the short go on Saturday. Ryan is the 20 year old son of Edwards County residents Souli and Patti Shanklin.
