- D.T.A. 3:16 Peter McCormick, 58, of Edwards County, Texas died April 24, 2008 at his home in the Jackson Ranch Subdivision. He was born November 12, 1949 in Hudson County, Jersey City, New Jersey to Peter and Marian McCormick. He served his country in the United States Air Force for four years during the Vietnam War and then again for four years in the United States Army, reaching the rank of Captain. He is survived by his son Jerome McCormick and wife Joey of Coppell, Texas. Services were held at 1:45 p.m. Thursday, May 1, 2008 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas. Brother Albert Green, Pastor of the First Baptist Church of Rocksprings, Texas officiated. Arrangements under the direction of Nelson Funeral Home of Rocksprings, Texas.
