Miguel “Willy” Sanchez, Jr., 53, of Camp Wood, Texas died August 29, 2006 in Uvalde, Texas. He was born April 9, 1953 in Rocksprings, Texas to Miguel Sanchez and Isabel Chavez Sanchez.
He was preceded in death by two brothers; Eddie and Gilbert Sanchez.
Survivors include: his parents Miguel Sanchez, Sr. of Uvalde, and Isabel Sanchez of Camp Wood; children: Mary Sanchez of Beeville, Texas and Julio Sanchez of Rocksprings: five grandchildren: John Galindo and Corey Breeden of Beeville, Cadgra Sanchez, Jauquin Sanchez and Tramaine Sanchez all of Rocksprings; brothers: Chavel Sanchez and wife Martina, Jesse Sanchez and wife Melissa and Ignacio Sanchez and wife Vindia all of Camp Wood; sisters: Maria Torres, Pauline Martinez and husband Joe, Josie Sanchez, Petra Estrada and husband Joe all of Camp Wood; Lily Moline and husband Raul, Irma Sanchez and husband Robert all of Brackettville, Texas and Linda Chapa of Del Rio, Texas.
Services were held Friday, September 1, 2006 in the St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church in Camp Wood. Burial followed in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Camp Wood with Father John Fiala officiating.
Arrangements were by Nelson Funeral Home of Camp Wood.
