T.D. was a rancher and a peace officer. He was a life member of the National Rifle Association and the Texas Game Warden Association. He was also a member of the Texas State Rifle Association, Sheriff’s Association of Texas, Southwest Cattle Raiser’s Association, Trans-Texas Heritage Association, West Texas JP and Constable Association and a charter member and past chief of the Mountain Home Volunteer Fire Department. He belonged to the First United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Billie Hall of Mountain Home; daughter, Susan Dee Hall Storey and husband, Dean Storey of Mountain Home; sons, William Thomas “Tommy” Hall and wife, Debbie of Mountain Home, Walter Lee Hall of Hunt and Travis Corry Hall and wife, Sally of Mountain Home; grandchildren, Howard Hall of Mountain Home, Eric Hall of San Antonio; Melinda Hall Gleinser of Junction, Mark Hall of Idalou, TX, Curt Storey of Ingram, Chris Storey of San Antonio and Emily and D.C. Hall of Mountain Home; great grandchildren, Westin and Whitney Hall of Mountain Home, Thomas Gleinser of Junction and Riley Hall of Idalou. He is also survived by a special family member, Mary Jane Hey. Visitation was held Tuesday, November 28 at Grimes Funeral Chapels. Services were held Wednesday, November 29 at 2p.m. at Grimes Funeral Chapels officiated by Rev. Dwayne Smith. Burial was held privately at the Hall Family Cemetery in Mountain Home. Grandchildren and great grandchildren served as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Divide Volunteer Fire Department, First United Methodist Church of Kerrville, Vista Care Hospice or the Junction Volunteer Fire Department.
