- John (Corky) Howard Frazier, Jr., of Leakey, Texas, died June 16, 2009 at the Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 51. He was born December 12, 1957 to John Howard Frazier, Sr. and Bonnie Elizabeth Brown Frazier in Baytown, Texas. Corky’s life was hunting. He loved the outdoors and we believe he is now in that “Happy hunting ground” and at peace with his Lord. Corky was preceded in death by his father John Howard Frazier, Sr. He is survived by his mother Bonnie Crider and hunting companion, step-father Clayton Crider. He is also survived by one brother Kirk Frazier and wife Elaine, one sister Jill Frazier Farnsworth and husband Jim all of Leakey, Texas. Also by many friends and extended family members. Services were held Friday, June 19, 2009 at the Church in the Valley, Leakey. Burial followed in the Rio Frio Cemetery in Rio Frio, Texas. Brother Ray Miller of Leakey officiated. Pallbearers were Tommy Tucker, Randy Sloan, Richard Elizondo, Chuck Van Pelt, Kirk Frazier, Josh Frazier, Chuck Brice and Scott Frazier.
