Elisabeth leaves behind her husband of 21 years: Peter; brother, Herbert Weber; sisters: Erika Weber Dieterle and Gertrude Weber; daughter Heike Rainer; three grandsons: Aliexander (15), Marco (12) and Lukas (11). Services were Friday July 3 at the Ottenbach Catholic Church in Ottenbach, Germany. Elisabeth requested the following songs be sung at her service: Amazing Grace, In the Garden and Wieder Hoam (I’m home again). Alicia Enriquez Rodriguez Ibarra, 46, of Camp Wood, Texas died July 9, 2009 at her home in Camp Wood. She was born November 15, 1962 in Rocksprings, Texas to Virgedo Rodriguez and Margarita Enriquez. Alicia was a wonderful mother, wife and caretaker. Her radiant smile and laughter will be greatly missed by all that knew her. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Natasha Ann Rodriguez, her son, Gilbert Arispe and her mother, Margarita Enriquez. Survivors are her husband, Juan Antonio Ibarra of Camp Wood, four children; Javier Arispe, Rachel Arispe, Mary Garza and Christal Rodriguez and husband Blas Victorino, all of Camp Wood and three siblings; Rudy Enriquez, Janie Enriquez and Diana Quintero, all of Rocksprings, Texas. Other survivors are her three grandchildren, Maria Arispe, Alejandra Sanchez and Carmen Sanchez and numerous nieces and nephews. Services were held July 13, 2009 in the Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Rocksprings, Texas. Burial followed in the Rocksprings Cemetery with Father Marcolino Rodriguez officiating. Pallbearers were Rey Ramos, Joe Michael Enriquez, Blas Victorino, Jr., Miguel Gonzales, Sergio Sanchez, Jr., and Homer Rodriguez. Services were under the direction of Nelson Funeral Home of Rocksprings, Texas. Online condolences may be made at www.nelsonfuneralhomes.net John Thomas Gordon, 63, went to be with his Lord, Monday, June 29, 2009. He died at his home in Rocksprings, Texas. He was born March 19, 1946 in Lubbock, Texas to Richard and Leon Virginia Gordon. John was an entrepreneur, as he owned several types of business through his lifetime. He loved cars, trucks, boats, horses and motorcycles, like most men do. He was an avid hunter and fisherman as well. He volunteered for the Marine Corps in 1968. He came home from Vietnam in 1969 with two Purple Hearts and a Bronze Star. He made his home with Leslie in Ft. Worth, Houston, Hunt (27 years), Port Aransas and finally, six years in Rocksprings. John had a full and interesting life, and will be missed by many friends and family. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother. Surviving family members are his wife of 41 years, Leslie Gordon of Rocksprings; two sons, Wesley and Carl Gordon both of Kerrville, Texas; one daughter Johnnie Hill of Sundown, Texas; one son-in-law, two daughters-in-law and six grandchildren; two sisters Lahoma Jacobs of Big Lake, Texas and Virginia (Crickett) Baker of Cleveland, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Graveside services were held Monday, July 6, 2009 at the Rocksprings Cemetery. Brother Albert Green officiated. Honorary pallbearers were Leon Baker, Larry Baker, Joe Baker, Terry Brooks, Craig Chisum, Lee Dane, Roger Dane, Joe Denney, Bob Hays, Jackie Hill, Carl Hyde, Randy Laverne, Carroll Smith, Roger Stevens, Eddie Sweeten and Grady Vick. Reyes, 62, of Devine, Texas, died June 29, 2009 at the Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. He was born December 15, 1946 in Rocksprings, Texas to Antonio and Maria De Jesus Ruiz Reyes. He was a school teacher for over 30 years. He took his UIL Number Sense Team to State and won State in 1992. He taught in Friendswood, Rocksprings, Garden City, Eagle Pass, Devine and Natalia. In his career, he taught all areas of math, algebra, trigonometry, geometry and tutored students in calculus, physics and astronomy. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Devine, Texas. He was preceded in death by his sister Maria Esmeralda Reyes. He is survived by his parents Antonio and Maria De Jesus Reyes, niece Olga Lydia Reyes of Rocksprings, grand-niece Cindy Reyes of Rocksprings and many friends. Memorial services were held July 7, 2009 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Devine, Texas with Father Alejandro Del Bosque officiating. Memorial services were also held July 8, 2009 at Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Rocksprings, Texas. Burial followed in the Rocksprings Cemetery. Father Macrolino Rodriquez officiated. Thomas Dean Ross, Sr., 64, of Camp Wood, Texas died July 11, 2009 at his residence. He was born December 6, 1944 in Houston, Texas to J. P. Abbott and Maybelle Sutherland. He was preceded in death by his parents and step-father, Joseph Burl Ross. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Jolene Ross of Camp Wood, two sons; Thomas Dean Ross, Jr., and Toby Lane Ross of Camp Wood, four daughters; Kimberly Jo Keith and husband Cobey of Utopia, Terri Leigh Balders and husband Terry of Camp Wood, Ginger Cheryl Applewhite and husband Cody of Pearsall and Jennifer Carol Patterson and husband Clayton of Artesia Wells and brothers James Abbott and wife Lee of Rogers, Texas, Gary Lee Ross and wife Villma of Corpus Christi, Texas and David Allas Ross and wife Kay of Uvalde, Texas. Mr. Ross is also survived by grandchildren Brandi Leighann and Kaleb Melvin Keith of Utopia, Ashley Nicole and Jessica Ann Nelson of Camp Wood, Skylar Ann and Drew Balderas of Camp Wood, William Kyler and Thomas Lee Applewhite of Pearsall, Jacob Preston and Jaydon Patrick Patterson of Artesia Wells, two unborn great grandsons and numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. Pallbearers were Wayne Whittaker, Don Gass, Jimmy Wimberley, Orville Terry, Tony Hidalgo and Lewis Ray Dean. Honorary pallbearers were Kaleb Melvin Keith, William Kyler Applewhite, Jacob Preston Patterson, Thomas Lee Applewhite, Jaydon Patrick Patterson and A. C. Bullard. Services were held July 16, 2009 by the river down McDonald road at the 2nd crossing. Burial followed in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Camp Wood, Texas with Brother Jim Boyd officiating.
