- Nellie Mae Brown, 78, died June 4, 2007 at her residence in Del rio, Texas. She was born to Levi and Carrie Jones on April 28, 1929 in San Angelo, Texas. She graduated from Rocksprings High School and attended Business College in San Antonio, Texas. She spent the last 34 years as Bill Nixon’s “Girl Friday” and office manager. On March 25, 1983 she married Eugene Brown at the First Untied Methodist Church after dating her true sweet heart for 1 1/2 years. She served as secretary to the Methodist Church for the last nine years and was very active in the United Methodist Woman’s Circle. She joined Beta Sigma Phi in 1989 holding a Preceptor Laureate degree. Nell had a great love for ceramics and reading. Her church and Sorority were a very important part of her life. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, her family was a source of great pride.
She is survived by her “Sweetheart” husband Eugene Brown of Del Rio; daughters: Kathie Wison of Bandera, Texas, Cari Freemore and her husband Jerry of Custer, South Dakota, Vickie Fugate and her husband Andy of Austin, Texas, Debra Sobezak and her husband John of California and Rebecca Keys and her husband Marlin of Oklahoma; sons: Mark Wilson of Houston and Randy Brown and wife Ester of Nevada; brother Hayden Jones of Houston; sister-in-law Nora Jones of Woodland; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Earl and Dorothy Brown of Del Rio; grandchildren: Clay Wilson of Houston and Pam Fugate of Austin; numerous nieces and nephews; best friend from high school Wanda Kiefer of Uvalde, Texas and her sisters of Beta Sigma Phi.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Douglas Duane Wilson and her beloved granddaughters: Navy Petty Officer Third Class Lea Ann Brown and Tami Wilson.
Funeral services were Wednesday, June 6, 2007 at the First United Methodist Church with Reverend Richard Young officiating. Interment is at a later date at the Masonic Cemetery.
In lieu of usual remembrances donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, Val Verde County Library or the First United Methodist Church.
Funeral arrangements were by G. W. Cox Memorial Funeral Home of Del Rio, Texas.

Thomas Floyd Collinsworth, 62, of Camp Wood died May 31, 2007 at his residence in Camp Wood. He was born July 28, 1944 along with a twin sister, Thelma Faye Collinsworth Tucker. They were greeted by an older sister, Betty Lynn Collinsworth Thomas, and later joined by another sister, Trudy Kay Collinsworth Spencer. The proud parents were William Clay Collinsworth “Buddy” and Alla Dee Nelson Collinsworth.
He was preceded in death by his father Buddy Collinsworth.
Survivors include his mother, Alla Dee Collinsworth of Camp Wood and his sisters along with numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
We were his whole life, he never married. He loved us and we loved him. May Jehovah bless and keep him.
Graveside services were held Sunday, June 3, 2007, in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Camp Wood, Texas.
Arrangements were by Nelson Funeral Home of Camp Wood.
