- Arturo G. Benavidez, 52, of Rocksprings, Texas died July 20th, 2007, at his home in Rocksprings, Texas. He was born July 30, 1954 in Rocksprings to Jesus and Feliz Benavidez.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors are wife, Maria Enriqueta Benavidez of Rocksprings; son Jesus Benavidez of San Antonio, Texas; daughter, Imelda Benavidez of San Antonio, Texas; brothers: Arnulfo Benavidez and Mario Benavidez; sisters: Milo Rendon, Elva Perez, Carmen Gonzales and Sylvia Rodriguez; special aunt Rina Martinez; grandson Javier Diego Benavidez and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Mario Benavidez, Luis Rendon, Jr., Juan Carlos Rendon, Ricardo Benavidez, Arnulfo Benavidez, Jr. and Ramon Ramirez.
Family visitation and viewing was held in the Nelson Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, July 22, 2007 followed by the Rosary.
Services were held Monday, July 23rd, 2007 at Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Rocksprings with Father Ken Dakin officiating. Burial followed in the Rocksprings cemetery.
Arrangements were by Nelson Funeral Homes.

Zachery (Zac) Joseph Vincent, 15, of Leakey, Texas died July 21, 2007 in his residence in Leakey. He was born July 2, 1992 in Houston, Texas to Ronnie and Terrie Vincent.
He was a top athlete in school, regionals in track, earning Eagle Badge in Boy Scouts, played basketball, football, liked to hunt, fish and loved the outdoors. He loved to go dancing at Garner State Park.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ronnie Vincent and his grandfather Frank Karnes.
He is survived by his mother Terrie Vincent and sister Kayla of Leakey; sister Libby Guidry and husband Joey, niece Ava and nephew Joseph of LaFayette, Louisiana. He is also survived by grandmother Sandra Karnes of Camp Wood, Texas; great-grandparents Henry and Ann Edwards of Leakey and Roy and Mary Davis of Camp Wood; great-great-grandmother Bea Stillwill of Camp Wood; uncle Frank and wife Cherri Karnes; cousins Hayli, Jayci and Kaydi of Leakey; numerous aunts, uncles and many friends.
Services were held Tuesday, July 24, 2007 at the First Baptist Church in Leakey, Texas. Burial followed in the Camp Wood Cemetery in Camp Wood, Texas with Brother Mark Spaniel officiating.
Arrangements were by Nelson Funeral Home of Leakey, Texas.
